Consultation
As part of your overall assessment, you will undergo a venous reflux ultrasound at one of the clinics we collaborate with. This test is a very specific one, and typically carried out only in certain locations, therefore you will need to have this test in London or Kitchener. Once the results are back you will have a consultation with the surgeon during which your options will be discussed in detail and your concerns addressed. Another test that we may need is a mapping ultrasound of your leg veins. This information will be used to formulate a comprehensive and personalized treatment plan. This test complements the information from the first ultrasound and it is specifically performed for patients who fully intend to have treatment at Stratford Vein Clinic. There is a small cost for this test to be done, however the cost will be deducted from your treatment price if you decide to proceed.
