Our modern ultrasound machine will show the surgeons where the problem is located. Often time the problem is hidden in a different location than you think. With the help of the ultrasound we can identify the vein that needs to be treated, and recommend the best procedure for you.

After closing a large vein, we will often call you back for an ultrasound within a week. 

Another ultrasound will be done at your last follow up to check if the vein is completely closed.
